Roba Ducia is a family-run shop, where the love for patisserie and the accurate selection of the ingredients guarantee fresh quality products. Every day the shop offers a wide choice of fresh pastries and tea biscuits and, according to the different seasons, traditional desserts like panettone, pandoro, colomba and chocolate dainties. Roba Ducia prepares also made-to-order cakes for special occasions. Among all the specialities do not miss “Mattonella Vigezzina”, a soft cake with chestnuts and apricots. Chocolate-lovers can find here “Mattonella dello Spazzacamino”, a delicious hazelnut chocolate cake with chocolate drops.

55 years after its opening, Carla and Chicco invite you to visit their lounge where you can taste traditional recipes and quality products.
The offer of Pasticceria Poggini starts from the morning with a wide and delicious choice for your breakfast: brioches, krapfen, doughnuts, jam tarts, bread with jam and butter, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, juices, cheese, bacon and eggs… together with a precious blend of Illy Coffee.
For the aperitif you will find a wide selection of more than 400 wines served with tasting appetizers.
For your teatime a rich variety of teas: green tea, black tea, Oolong tea, white or red tea and a wide range of scented and flavoured variants. Taste also here a delicious hot chocolate or a slice of the tempting cakes prepared by this pastry shop.
Bar Pasticceria Poggini offers also wine, grappa, rum, whisky, extra-virgin olive oil tasting.
Pasticceria Poggini proposes also gift baskets, gift packages, traditional cakes (Panelatte and Fiacia), panettone with chestnuts, colombe, jams and organic products. Parties for your special occasions can be organized here by Carla and Chicco. Do not miss to taste hot zabaglione, the house specialty!
BAR RUDI
Recently renovated, Bar Rudi is one of the historic cafés of Piazza Risorgimento, a meeting-point in the old town centre at any hour during the day or at night. Maria will welcome you in the halls of her café: the modern hall or the historic lounge with the traditional stone fireplace that creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere. This intimate lounge is at disposal for special parties, birthdays or other occasions: Maria will help you to organize the perfect party! In summertime you can sit in the open air space of the bar and taste an aperitif, while admiring the beauty of Piazza Risorgimento and Santa Maria Maggiore.

DELICATI EQUILIBRI
This is a refined ice-cream and pastry shop run by Federica, who produces delicious biscuits and sweets for all tastes. Among the specialities: the “bacio” (a delicious biscuit that shows the colours of the municipality of Santa Maria Maggiore), “Biscotti Vigezzini” (a registered trademark) and the special “pear and chocolate cake”. A delicious ice-cream can be tasted here; a rich variety of flavours is proposed by Federica, from the classic ones to the most unusual and refined, like “honey and dwarf pine”, “mascarpone”, “honey and walnuts”, “pumpkin and orange” and, in autumn, even… “penny bun mushrooms”.
